Because we care about a cleaner environment, we are increasing our efforts to make recycling in your area more accessible and convenient.
Residential Recycling Service Details
Recycling is an extra charge and has its own pickup schedule.
Beginning at 6:00 AM Monday through Friday, recycling is picked up every other week. If your recycling container is not out in time for collection, it will be picked up on the following scheduled collection.
Please have your recycling can at the curb by 6:00 AM on your pickup day. Your recycling schedule depends on which area of town you reside.

- Wax Cartons (ex. Milk, juice, or ice cream)
- Aseptic Containers (ex. Juice boxes)

- Junk Mail and Office Papers (Bag shredded paper in a clear plastic bag)

- Tin or Steel Cans (Aerosol cans are permitted, but contents must be completely removed)

We recycle by type of plastic, not by number. Please place empty, clean recyclables loose in receptacle.

To avoid injury to your collector, please place lids from cans inside the can. Labels left on is okay.

Lids can be on or off. No plastic bags, nozzles or Styrofoam of any kind. No plastic flower pots.

Cardboard boxes must be flattened and cleaned. All Styrofoam and plastic liners, tissue, inserts, wrappings and staples must be removed from cardboard and is garbage. No grease or food stains, such as on pizza boxes.

Incorrect Battery Disposal Can Cause Fires
Common household items seem harmless, however, the batteries in them pose risks when disposed into regular garbage or recycling containers because of their highly flammable nature.
Remove the batteries
Check the electronic devices you need to dispose of. If possible, remove the batteries. If not, bring the whole device to the drop off location.Store batteries in a safe place
